Made for curves.
The Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 embodies the Driving Performance brand claim most impressively, combining a 287 kW 3.0-litre V6 bi-turbo engine with AMG sport suspension. The independently developed AMG front and rear axles, including AMG-specific mounts for the engine and rear-axle differential, are designed for high lateral acceleration and low body roll.
With a long front design and a passenger compartment repositioned far to the rear, the Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 shows typical race car attributes. In the front, the steep radiator front with diamond grille, front splitter in silver chrome and front apron in A-wing design reflects the expressive AMG styling. The athletic silhouette with details in silver chrome provide the perfect finish.
The AMG high-performance braking system with internally ventilated and perforated brake discs all around offers excellent deceleration performance and precision brake control. The front axle brake discs, measuring 360 x 36 mm, are internally ventilated and perforated with four-piston aluminium floating callipers, whereas the rear axle brake discs, measuring 330 x 22 mm, are internally ventilated and perforated with single-piston aluminium combination floating callipers, all contributing to better comfort and handling while driving.
